This is a file search utility with many
useful options, like the choice to search only files with a certain extension, and whether or not the directory tree has to be scanned.
fsearch will display all the occurrences which have been found. The filename, line number and line are displayed in the window. However, you can choose to have only the first occurrence displayed. When you indicate the binary
option, only the filename and offset in the file are displayed.
Of course there are also some special matching features, like case dependent, matching a space with a stretch of white space, and searching for a word delimited string.
